materials and let the stones themselves inspire the design.

The Tennessee Agate offered by Appalachian Secrets is from a newly discovered locality in the
Appalachian Mountains and foothills of East Tennessee. This agate is from Buffalo Mountain
in East Tennessee. This being the source, we call it Buffalo Mountain Agate. This extraordinary
new discovery of Tennessee Agate and Jasper is an exclusive offering from Appalachian Secrets
and we are proud to be able to offer such an incredibly unique new find - as new agate discoveries
are very uncommon. Of this Buffalo Mountain Agate, many different forms are found. Plume,
Iris, Moss, Black Onyx with and without inclusions, classic Tennessee Red, Orange and Yellow,
Blue with matrix, some with lavender tones and many new forms that we have never seen before
and do not yet have names to describe them. All of these agate and jasper forms are found
as nodules ranging in size from very, very large all the way to thumbnail size.
Most of which are distinctively 'out of the ordinary'.
